Ferrite relies on this type of endpoint for rich display of instantly available magnets.
The workaround: A user's magnet library now serves as the instant availability cache. There is now a manual Download to Debrid button on the context menu for each search result and bookmark so a user can manually queue a magnet for downloading. If the magnet is instantly available, it'll show the file contents as before and add the magnet to the user's instant availability cache (making the debrid badge green!).
Here's a picture showing where this new button is located:

At this time, I do not recommend using RealDebrid or AllDebrid.
Hi guys, here's the 2.5 update for ByeTunes. This one adds full Deezer support and real parallel downloads for way faster queues, plus a brand new Smart Playlists feature with custom cover art. On top of that, a bunch of reliability fixes across downloads, backups, and repair tools — including a crash fix for the download queue.
Quick recommendation: for the best speed and match accuracy while searching, set Deezer as your Search Provider. And to keep full Apple Music compatibility (animated artwork, richer info), keep Apple Music as your Metadata Source.
Deezer — full provider support

Deezer is now a full first-class search source alongside Apple Music/iTunes, with its own tab ("Search or paste a Deezer link")
Paste a Deezer track/album/artist/playlist link and it resolves directly — same one-tap flow Apple Music/Spotify links already had
Deezer artist pages now show real top tracks + full discography (up to 100 each), not just a flat track list
Deezer search results paginate ("load more"), merged into the same song/album results as other providers
"Find on Deezer" added alongside "Find on Spotify" as an in-app browser shortcut for failed downloads

Download Engine — real concurrency & speed

Downloads used to run one at a time through a single sequential task; now use a real worker-pool so multiple tracks download in parallel
Concurrency is format-aware: 3 simultaneous downloads for lossy formats, capped to 2 for lossless (FLAC/ALAC), since lossless generation is much more expensive on the backend
Added a start-pacer that spaces out when new downloads begin (wider gap for lossless) on top of the concurrency cap — bursts of simultaneous requests were triggering backend 429/500 errors even within the concurrency limit
Fixed the download engine getting silently recreated from scratch whenever the Download tab's view was torn down (older iOS layout) — was orphaning in-flight downloads and losing queue state; now backed by a shared instance that survives it
Aggregate download speed now tracked and shown live across all active downloads

Background Downloads

Fixed isAppActive defaulting to true on a silent background relaunch, which routed transfers through the short-lived foreground path instead of the durable background session (caused FLAC→MP3 downgrades and stalls)
Fixed the candidate fallback loop not checking cancellation, which let a cancelled foreground download silently complete via the MP3 fallback instead of aborting
Completed-but-unclaimed background download results now persist to disk so a killed/relaunched app recovers them instead of re-downloading
Finished tracks now persist their own .done state so a relaunch mid-queue doesn't drop them from Queue Details
Added a genuine background-processing task (registered at launch) so metadata fetching can run even when the app isn't open, instead of only opportunistically while active
Each backend candidate now uses its own requested format for its file-extension fallback instead of a hardcoded "flac" default
Plain-language failure messages in the download queue instead of raw HTTP/backend error bodies
Fixed link.deezer.com short links not resolving
Fixed a crash: removing a failed download could resurrect it (and crash on the second removal) because a stray background-session completion callback fired after removal and wrote the state back. Removal now properly cancels the underlying background task too.

Smart Playlists

Create playlists by rule: Genre, Artist, Decade, Format, or Explicit Rating
Multi-select across all rule types with combined naming (e.g. "Rock, Pop" or "1990s, 2000s")
Live match counts, search within Genre/Artist lists, lossless-format badges
Artist grouping splits collab credits ("A & B") into separate artists, matching the on-device Artists tab
"Refresh Smart Playlist" — remembers its rule and can re-sync to catch newly matching songs

Playlists

New naming screen matches Apple Music: photo picker, large title field, X/checkmark controls — used for manual and smart playlist creation alike
Custom playlist cover photos: pick a photo, it's auto-cropped to a square and uploaded using the same on-device artwork system Apple Music itself uses; persists across relaunch
In-playlist rename
Playlist restore now lists which specific tracks failed to match instead of just a count

On-Device Library

Select/Select All controls pinned so they stay visible while scrolling
Select/Select All/Add to Playlist/Add to Album/Export restricted to the Songs tab; Playlists tab gets Select/Select All/Export/Delete
Removed redundant header title/count and Export Folder picker from non-Songs tabs
Audio Quality Analysis (new): tapping a song shows a verdict flagging mislabeled files (e.g. an MP3 renamed .flac), suspiciously over-compressed "lossless" files, and low-bitrate lossy files
On-device album metadata editing
In-place device audio file replacement
Content Rating redesigned from a cramped segmented control to a compact menu row, with a new "No Rating" option
Fixed the explicit/clean rating editor: a binary toggle could only ever write explicit/none, silently flipping "clean" tracks to explicit

Reliability Fixes

Injection failures no longer silently drop songs from the queue — unconfirmed songs are put back
Repair operations (artwork fix, database doctor, alphabetical order) use per-operation cancellation tokens instead of one shared flag, so cancelling one can no longer kill an unrelated one
Background metadata fetch no longer double-imports a song if the process is killed mid-drain
Artwork upload failures during metadata edits are now reported instead of silently swallowed
A failed database integrity check now aborts the library merge instead of writing on top of a known-corrupt database
Fixed the large-batch injection safeguard checking the wrong count
Fixed byetunes://download deep links opening the wrong tab on iOS 16–18
Fixed a Live Activity race that could resurrect it right after ending; orphaned Live Activities from a killed session now clean up on cold launch
Removed dead Tidal/Qobuz code and a broken last-resort Spotify mapping fallback

Backup & Restore

Merged Light/Full Backup toggle and "Export Full Library" into two direct-action rows; Full Backup always bundles per-playlist files

Settings

Store Region picker upgraded from a simple inline row to a full searchable, alphabetically-grouped screen with flags
About/Credits moved to its own section, separate from actionable controls
Added "Keep Local Metadata" to skip the fetch pipeline for imported local files

Hi guys, here is the 2.4 update for ByeTunes. This one is focused a lot on making downloads, backups, playlists and repair tools way more reliable and easier to use.
Downloads can now keep going in the background. If you turn on background downloads in Settings, ByeTunes can continue an active download after you leave the app or lock your phone instead of making you babysit the download screen.
There is also Live Activity support now. When background downloads are enabled you can turn on Live Activity Progress and see the current download progress on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
Metadata fetching for downloaded songs was improved too. ByeTunes can now keep track of downloaded files that still need metadata and finish that work in the background, so songs downloaded from the Download tab should still get cleaned up and enriched even if you do not manually open the Music tab right away.
Small disclaimer for background downloads:
Because of how iOS handles background tasks, ByeTunes may sometimes disappear from the screen or be suspended/terminated by iOS while background downloads are turned on. This does not always mean the download stopped. In most cases, the background download session can keep running and ByeTunes will recover the download state when the app is opened again.
If you manually force close the app from the app switcher, iOS may stop background activity until you open ByeTunes again.
Opus support was added too. ByeTunes can now detect and handle Opus downloads properly instead of treating them like an unknown audio file type, so downloads that come back as Opus should be saved and processed with the right extension.
The download queue is more persistent now. If the app closes or gets interrupted, ByeTunes saves the active queue, failed items, progress state and pending metadata work so it can recover better next time. Failed Apple Music downloads also give a clearer message now, and there is a helper to find the song on Spotify when Apple Music cannot be used for that track.
I also cleaned up the Download tab search bar. You can now use the same bar to search or paste an Apple Music, Spotify or Deezer link instead of having to think so much about where the link came from.
Backup and Restore got a big rework. There is now a dedicated Backup & Restore section with a cleaner Manage Backups screen. You can still do light database backups or full backups with song files.
Playlist backup and restore was added too. You can back up playlists using a 3mu file on your device, then restore them later, or even share them with your friends. ByeTunes tries to match the songs already on the device when restoring, so playlists can be recreated without needing to re-inject every song again.
The On-Device Library browser got a lot better. You can now browse songs, artists, albums and playlists, manage playlists from inside ByeTunes, add songs to playlists, remove songs from playlists, rename/delete playlists and export songs with a saved export folder.
The repair tools were moved into a proper Library Repair area. Clean & Repair Library is now separated from Backup & Restore, and there are clearer tools for fixing ghost songs, broken alphabetical ordering, artwork issues and album artwork refreshes.
There were also a bunch of smaller fixes and cleanups around metadata, backups, device library browsing, download recovery, queue handling and settings organization.
Thanks as always to everyone testing ByeTunes, sending logs and reporting what breaks. Hope you guys enjoy this update.",

A good amount of things got added, fixed and improved in this one.
From now on I am hosting our own server so we don't rely on external servers anymore, I am solely assuming the cost of this server myself however if anybody is willing to support us there is a new option to support us inside the settings tab. Whoever does will be featured in the settings tab.
You can now also search and download from Spotify directly. Spotify has been added as a search provider in the Download tab right next to Apple Music. You can paste a Spotify link or search by name and it works the same way as everything else.
Downloads now have a Pause and a Cancel button while a download is in progress. You can pause a download mid-flight and resume it, or cancel it without having to clear the entire queue.
The output format setting was broken. If you had FLAC selected, downloads would sometimes come in as MP3 anyway. That was a bug where the format preference was not being read correctly when using the auto backend path. That is fixed now and the format you pick in settings is what you actually get.
There is a new On-Device Library section in Settings. It lets you browse all the songs currently injected on your connected device. From there you can edit metadata, delete songs, and export files. It is disabled and grayed out when no device local tunnel vpn is connected.
When you are manually editing a song's metadata, there is now a Custom Album Color option. If you turn it on, a color picker shows up and you can pick any color you want for the album background inside the music app.
On the fixes side, there was a crash that could happen in the download backend when a custom download handler was used instead of a URL request. That is fixed. The metadata parser had a bug where if a filename contained "feat." in the title, the heuristic would swap the title and artist around. That is also fixed.
Thanks as always to everyone testing and sending logs. Hope you enjoy this one.",

There is also a provider picker so you can switch between Apple Music, Tidal, or iTunes and Deezer.
I have also added a preview play button next to the download button of each song so you.can listen to a preview before you download the song.
There is a new settings screen just for the Downloader, Metadata source, lyrics preferences, store region, and a few other options that were buried before are all in one place now.
Fixed a heartbeat issue that could cause stale reconnect loops to stack up after disconnecting and reconnecting the device.
Hi Guys this update is mainly focused on iOS 26.4 support and its new rppairing.
Big disclaimer for iOS 26.4 and newer:
Injection is noticeable slower than it was on older iOS versions.
That is because Apple now requires the new RP Pairing method for this path, and RP Pairing goes through a heavier tunnel/RSD/AFC route than the old regular pairing file method. I tried to reduce extra reconnects pings where I could, but the new Apple-required method is still slower by nature.
If you are on iOS 26.4 or newer, the app will ask you to import an RP Pairing File.
That popup will stay there until you import the correct file.
The app also validates pairing files now.
So if somebody imports the wrong file, ByeTunes should reject it instead of accepting it and crashing later.
iOS 26.4 changed how Apple Music displays artwork and background colors.
Because of that, older injected songs could show artwork in some places but still have a gray background or missing display artwork in the newer Apple Music views.
This update adds the new iOS 26.4+ artwork database support.
Injected songs on iOS 26.4 and newer now get the new artwork rows they need.
iOS 26.3.x and lower keep the older database behavior, so they do not get the new iOS 26.4-only changes.
Apple Music artwork colors are now used too.
When ByeTunes fetches Apple Music metadata, it now reads the artwork color data Apple provides and uses that for the new iOS 26.4 background colors.
If Apple does not provide colors, ByeTunes falls back to local artwork color sampling.
Added Fix Artwork in Settings.
This is only visible on iOS 26.4 and newer.
It is meant for songs you injected before updating to iOS 26.4.
Fix Artwork will try to repair the artwork and colors for those older injected songs.
Internet is required because it fetches the colors from Apple Music.
There is now a Full Backup option in Settings.
If Full Backup is off:
ByeTunes makes the smaller database-only backup like before, this is mainly for people who only uses ByeTunes as their music manager.
If Full Backup is on:
ByeTunes saves a full local copy of the database and media files.
This is useful if a PC sync or external sync deletes the songs from the device, because a database-only backup cannot restore files that are gone.
Backup and restore now show proper progress popups.
So instead of just seeing a spinner, you can see what step ByeTunes is working on.
Added an update checker.
ByeTunes now checks the GitHub releases page when opening the app.
If a newer version is available, it shows a popup with a link to download the latest release.
You can also tap the Version row in Settings to check for updates manually.
Added a downloader server chooser in Settings.
You can now choose:
Auto
Yoinkify
HiFi One
HiFi Two
Auto keeps the normal fallback behavior.
Choosing one server forces that backend.
ByeTunes now supports more lyrics sources:
LRCLIB
Musixmatch
NetEase
The manual lyrics search now lets you choose the lyrics service.
Automatic lyrics fetching also uses a fallback chain between services.
Added support for choosing a custom downloaded songs folder.
If you keep downloaded songs locally, ByeTunes can now use a saved folder bookmark instead of always using the default app folder.
Improved logs.
You can now copy logs from the log viewer.
Exported logs now use a stable Logs/MusicManager_Logs.txt file instead of making a new timestamped file every time.
Improved duplicate review UI.
The duplicate review screen should be clearer now when choosing which detected duplicates to keep or skip.
Thanks again to everybody testing ByeTunes, sending logs, databases and feedback.
This update touches a lot of sensitive iOS 26.4 stuff, so that testing helped a lot.
Hope you guys enjoy this update.",

The work focused on reducing project size, splitting large files into smaller modules, and improving maintainability. English ↔ Spanish translation tasks were also streamlined in this version.

SUMEE is a highly stylized, nostalgic iOS launcher and frontend inspired by the PS Vita interface and the Frutiger Aero design language.
Project Context (Important)
This repository is a refactored Lite fork of the original SUMEE! project, based on my own original codebase.
To build SUMEE Lite, I used AI as a development assistant to help reduce and reorganize parts of the original SUMEE! codebase into a smaller, more modular structure.
Main goal of this fork:
- Make SUMEE! smaller and easier to maintain.
- Split large files/features into smaller, modular components.
- Keep behavior and design identity while improving readability and iteration speed.
About development workflow:
- Core architecture, app logic, and project direction are authored manually.
- Refactoring focused on decomposition into reusable pieces (views, managers, and feature modules).
- English ↔ Spanish translation tasks were also made easier during this refactor process.
AI Usage in the Codebase
AI tools were used as targeted support to speed up refactoring, cleanup, and writing tasks.
However, the project design, core architecture, and technical decisions behind SUMEE! Lite are original work and are maintained manually.
It transforms your iOS navigation experience with 3D bubble icons, "LiveArea" style app pages, floating cartridges, and a fully functional system interface including Music, Photos, and Game integrations.
Join our Discord
Features

Vita-Style Home Screen:
Vertical scrolling pages with 3D, physics-based bubble icons.
"Wobble" edit mode and drag-and-drop organization.

LiveArea Interface:
Launch apps into a "LiveArea" gate before entering.
Peel-to-Close: Use the signature "peel" gesture (top-right corner) to close apps and games. Includes haptic feedback!

System Apps:
Music Player: Floating mini-player and full-screen visualization.
Photos: Integrated gallery viewer.
Settings: Comprehensive customization (Lite Mode, Performance Mode, Custom Themes).

Emulation Frontend:
Built-in support for launching and managing ROMs (requires appropriate backend/core setup).

Aesthetics:
Frutiger Aero gloss and depth.
Dynamic backgrounds and floating particle effects.
Custom "Lite Mode" for older devices to ensure smooth 60fps performance.

Prerequisites

macOS with the latest version of Xcode (15.0+ recommended).
iOS Device matching the deployment target (iOS 15.0+).
Apple ID (for signing).

Getting Started
1. Clone the Repository
bash
git clone https://github.com/getzemani63/sumee-lite.git
cd sumee-lite
2. Open in Xcode
Double-click on SUMEE!.xcodeproj to open the project.
3. Configure Signing

Click on the SUMEE project icon in the top-left project navigator.
Select the SUMEE target under "Targets".
Go to the Signing & Capabilities tab.
Select your Team from the dropdown menu.
Ensure the Bundle Identifier is unique (e.g., change com.sumee.app to com.yourname.sumee) if you don't have access to the original team profile.

4. Run the App

Connect your iOS device via USB.
Select your device from the generic device list in the top toolbar.
Press Cmd + R or click the Play button to build and run.

Note: If running on a physical device for the first time, you may need to trust your developer profile in Settings > General > VPN & Device Management on your iPhone/iPad.

Building an IPA (For Sideloading)
To verify the app or share it (e.g., via AltStore, SideStore, or TrollStore), you need to export an .ipa file.

Select "Any iOS Device (arm64)":

In the device selector (top toolbar), choose Any iOS Device (arm64) instead of a specific connected phone.

Archive:

Go to Product > Archive in the menu bar.
Xcode will build the project. You can also have multiple versions of an app installed with multiple data containers.
- (Below iOS 26) When JIT is available, codesign is entirely bypassed, no need to sign your apps before installing. Otherwise, your app will be signed with the same certificate used by LiveContainer.

> [!CAUTION]
> **Important Notice Regarding Third-Party Builds of LiveContainer**
>
> We have recently noticed the appearance of certain closed-source third-party builds of LiveContainer. Please be aware that all your apps are installed within LiveContainer, which means these third-party builds **have full access to your data, including sensitive information such as keychain items and login credentials**.
>
> Furthermore, please note that we do not provide any support for issues of these third-party builds.

# Installation
**LiveContainer comes with a standalone version and a version with built-in SideStore. [Please read the install guide here](https://livecontainer.github.io/docs/installation)**

If you encounter any issue please [read our FAQ here](https://livecontainer.github.io/docs/faq)

### Standalone

Stable

Nightly

### LiveContainer+SideStore
|Stable|Nightly|
|:-:|:-:|
|||

## Requirements

- iOS/iPadOS 15+
 + Multitasking requires iOS/iPadOS 16.0+
- AltStore 2.0+ / SideStore 0.6.0+

# Features & Guides

### Installing Apps
- Open LiveContainer, tap the plus icon in the upper right hand corner and select IPA files to install.
- Choose the app you want to open in the next launch.
- You can long-press the app to manage it.

### [Add Apps to Home Screen](https://livecontainer.github.io/docs/guides/add-to-home-screen)

### [Multiple LiveContainers](https://livecontainer.github.io/docs/guides/multiple-livecontainers)
Using multiple LiveContainers allows you to run multiples different apps simultaneously, with *almost* seamless data transfer between the LiveContainers.

### [Multitasking](https://livecontainer.github.io/docs/guides/multitask)
You can now launch multiple apps simultaneously in in-app virtual windows. These windows can be resized, scaled, and even displayed using the native Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feature. On iPads, apps can run in native window mode, displaying each app in a separate system window. And if you wish, you can choose to run apps in multitasking mode by default in settings.

To use multitasking, hold its banner and tap **"Multitask"**. You can also make Multitask the default launch mode in settings.

>[!Note]
>1. To use multitasking, ensure you select **"Keep App Extensions"** when installing via SideStore/AltStore.
>2. If you want to enable JIT for multitasked apps, you’ll need a JIT enabler that supports attaching by PID. (StikDebug)

### [JIT Support](https://livecontainer.github.io/docs/guides/jit-support)
### [Installing external tweaks](https://livecontainer.github.io/docs/guides/tweaks)
### [Multiple Containers/External Containers](https://livecontainer.github.io/docs/guides/containers-and-external-data)
### [Hiding Apps](https://livecontainer.github.io/docs/guides/lock-app)

### Fix File Picker & Local Notification
Some apps may experience issues with their file pickers or not be able to apply for notification permission in LiveContainer. To resolve this, enable "Fix File Picker" & "Fix Local Notifications" accordingly in the app-specific settings.

### "Open In App" Support
- You can simply share a URL or a file to app simply by using iOS's native share sheet. In share sheet, select LiveContainer, and LiveContainer will ask you which app you'd like to open that URL/file in.
- What's more, you also can tap the link icon in the top-right corner of the "Apps" tab and input the URL. LiveContainer will detect the appropriate app and ask if you want to launch it.

## Compatibility
Unfortunately, not all apps work in LiveContainer, so we have a [compatibility list](https://github.com/LiveContainer/LiveContainer/labels/compatibility) to tell if there is apps that have issues. If they aren't on this list, then it's likely going run. However, if it doesn't work, please make an [issue](https://github.com/LiveContainer/LiveContainer/issues/new/choose) about it.

## Building
Open Xcode, edit `DEVELOPMENT_TEAM[config=Debug]` in `xcconfigs/Global.xcconfig` to your team id and compile.

## Project structure
### Main executable
- Core of LiveContainer
- Contains the logic of setting up guest environment and loading guest app.
- If no app is selected, it loads LiveContainerSwiftUI.

### LiveContainerSwiftUI
- SwiftUI rewrite of LiveContainerUI (by @hugeBlack)
- Language file `Localizable.xcstrings` is in here for multilingual support. To help us translate LiveContainer, please visit [our crowdin project](https://crowdin.com/project/livecontainer)

### MultitaskSupport
- Contains the implementation of multitasking feature.
- Based on [FrontBoardAppLauncher](https://github.com/khanhduytran0/FrontBoardAppLauncher)

### SideStore
- Supporting code for SideStore's app refreshing integration

### TweakLoader
- A simple tweak injector, which loads CydiaSubstrate and loads tweaks.
- Injected to every app you install in LiveContainer.

### ZSign
- The app signer shipped with LiveContainer.
- Originally made by [zhlynn](https://github.com/zhlynn/zsign).
- LiveContainer uses [Feather's](https://github.com/khcrysalis/Feather) version of ZSign modified by khcrysalis.
- Changes are made to meet LiveContainer's needs.

## How does it work?

### Patching guest executable
- Patch `__PAGEZERO` segment:
 + Change `vmaddr` to `0xFFFFC000` (`0x100000000 - 0x4000`)
 + Change `vmsize` to `0x4000`
- Change `MH_EXECUTE` to `MH_DYLIB`.
- Inject a load command to load `TweakLoader.dylib`

### Patching `@executable_path`
- Hook `dyld4::APIs::_NSGetExecutablePath`
- Call `_NSGetExecutablePath`
- Replace `config.process.mainExecutablePath`
 - Calculate address of `config.process.mainExecutablePath` using `dyld4::APIs` instance (passed as first parameter)
 - Use `builtin_vm_protect` or TPRO unlock to make it writable
 - Replace the address with one we have control of
- Put the original `dyld4::APIs::_NSGetExecutablePath` back

> Old Method
>- Call `_NSGetExecutablePath` with an invalid buffer pointer input -> SIGSEGV
>- Do some [magic stuff](https://github.com/khanhduytran0/LiveContainer/blob/5ef1e6a/main.m#L74-L115) to overwrite the contents of executable_path.

### Patching `NSBundle.mainBundle`
- This property is overwritten with the guest app's bundle.

### Bypassing Library Validation
- JIT is optional to bypass codesigning. In JIT-less mode, all executables are signed so this does not apply.
- Derived from [Restoring Dyld Memory Loading](https://blog.xpnsec.com/restoring-dyld-memory-loading)

### dlopening the executable
- Call `dlopen` with the guest app's executable
- TweakLoader loads all tweaks in the selected folder
- Find the entry point
- Jump to the entry point
- The guest app's entry point calls `UIApplicationMain` and start up like any other iOS apps.

### Multi-Account support & Keychain Semi-Separation
[128 keychain access groups](./entitlements.xml) are created and LiveContainer allocates them randomly to each container of the same app. So you can create 128 container with different keychain access groups.

## Limitations
- Entitlements from the guest app are not applied to the host app. This isn't a big deal since sideloaded apps requires only basic entitlements.
- App Permissions are globally applied.
- Guest app containers are not sandboxed. This means one guest app can access other guest apps' data.
- App extensions aren't supported. they cannot be registered because: LiveContainer is sandboxed, SpringBoard doesn't know what apps are installed in LiveContainer, and they take up App ID.
- Multitasking can be achieved by using multiple LiveContainer and the multitasking feature. However, while we were able to fix physical keyboard input issue on iPadOS (https://github.com/LiveContainer/LiveContainer/issues/524), iPhone Mirroring uses different checks which still broke it (https://github.com/LiveContainer/LiveContainer/issues/793).
- Remote push notification will not work
- Querying custom URL schemes might not work(?)

## TODO
- Use ChOma instead of custom MachO parser

## License
[GNU Affero General Public License v3.0](https://github.com/LiveContainer/LiveContainer/blob/main/LICENSE)

## Credits
- [xpn's blogpost: Restoring Dyld Memory Loading](https://blog.xpnsec.com/restoring-dyld-memory-loading)
- [LinusHenze's CFastFind](https://github.com/pinauten/PatchfinderUtils/blob/master/Sources/CFastFind/CFastFind.c): [MIT license](https://github.com/pinauten/PatchfinderUtils/blob/master/LICENSE)
- [litehook](https://github.com/opa334/litehook): [MIT license](https://github.com/opa334/litehook/blob/main/LICENSE)
- @haxi0 & @m1337v for icon
- @Vishram1123 for the initial shortcut implementation.
- @hugeBlack for SwiftUI contribution
- @Staubgeborener for automatic AltStore/SideStore source updater
- @fkunn1326 for improved app hiding
- @slds1 for dynamic color feature
- @Vishram1123 for iOS 26+ JIT Script Support
- @StephenDev0 for AltStore source support",

See our installation guide for details.

New Features
Storage Management

Added a new storage management view with a breakdown of app bundles, containers, temporary files, app group data, tweaks, and other files. (Hidden apps' size is included in "other" section until unlocked)
Added per-app storage details, including app bundle size, container sizes, and last-used date.
Added actions to clean temporary files and caches, including guest app caches and LiveContainer's own caches.

Multiple LiveContainers

Added configurable launch priority for multiple LiveContainer instances, making shared-app shortcuts choose available instances in the order you prefer. (#1367)

Share to Apps in LiveContainer
Added a share extension to LiveContainer. When you share a URL or a file from iOS's share sheet, LiveContainer will ask which app you would like to open the URL/file in, so the old share to LiveContainer shortcut method is no longer needed. When an ipa file is shared in this way, LiveContainer will ask if you want to install it in LiveContainer or in the built-in SideStore (if installed) (#1357)
Multitasking

Added per-app multitask preferences. Each app can now follow the global setting, always launch in multitask mode, or avoid multitask mode. (#1208)
Improved multitask dock behavior: the dock can be made smaller, hidden more cleanly, and has improved padding. (#1228, #1250)
Added more multitask window animations and improved native-window scene handling.
URL schemes and open-url payloads can be passed to already-running multitask apps and native windows.

JIT

Added StosDebug support as a JIT enabler.

TweakLoader
You can now disable tweaks in the "Tweaks" page in LiveContainer's UI. by @SAOMDVN
Improvements

Added support for manually setting a container's IDFV. (#1194)
IDFV spoofing works even when Tweakloader is not loaded.
Reworked signing logic for tweaks and app installation, with multithreaded signing support.
Download alerts now block tab switching while a download is in progress.
Crash reports are shown in a sheet instead of a large alert for better performance on newer iOS versions.
Add a "Clear Notification" button (#1388)
Added some popular NSBonjourServices keys so apps can discover AirPlay devices and remote pairing pairable hosts in the local network. (#1417)

Bug Fixes

Fixed livecontainer://open-url dropping the deep link when launching an app from a cold start. (#1339)
Fixed the Add to Home Screen menu failing or behaving incorrectly by replacing the SwiftUI context menu implementation. (#1209)
Fixed a crash when opening Container Preferences if the app did not contain an en.lproj path. (#1239)
Fixed apps and AltStore sources not being searchable in some cases. (#1365, #1368)
Fixed converting a shared app back to private after aborting an install with the same bundle identifier, which could leave stale container state behind. (#1347)
Fixed shortcuts and JIT flows getting stuck on a busy LiveContainer instance instead of using another available instance. (#1386)
Fixed file picker not workings for some apps because Tweakloader is not loaded after enabling "Hide LiveContainer from dyld API". (#1430)
Fixed several app launch compatibility issues on iOS 26.5 beta, and some multitask/JIT app launches. (#1300, #1310, #1329)
Fixed multitask keyboard focus issues on iOS 17.4+, including cases where the keyboard would not appear, Passwords would immediately close, or video playback would freeze in multitask mode. (#1402, #844, #870)
Added support for iOS 27 developer beta. (#1394, #1417, #1416)
Fix background downloads in multitask apps (choosing "Keep App Extensions (Register App ID for Each Extension)" is required). (#1415)

Localization

Updated translations. See our installation guide for details.

Happy Spring Festival / Lunar New Year! After six months of development, we’re excited to release LiveContainer 3.7.0. This update introduces several powerful new features, including the Launch App Shortcut, iOS 26 JIT script support, external containers, native icon generation, and more.
New Features
Launch App Shortcut

[!Note]
This feature requires LiveContainer to be installed with at least the LaunchAppExtension and LaunchAppExtensionHelper extension. iOS 16+ is supported.

A new extension allows apps to launch instantly without opening the LiveContainer main interface (for apps that are not locked, hidden, or JIT-required). Once configured, the shortcut prepares the runtime environment and selects an available LiveContainer instance to launch the app directly.
This reduces extra relaunches and jumps and typically saves 1~2 seconds per launch.
See the setup guide for instructions.
JIT
Support for iOS 26 JIT scripts has been added by @Vishram1123. Scripts can be configured in app-specific settings and loaded automatically on iOS 26+.
The “StikDebug in another LiveContainer” option has been fixed, allowing StikDebug to run within LiveContainer. When launching a JIT-required app, LiveContainer will automatically detect StikDebug, launch it in an available container, and pass all required parameters — including scripts — to enable JIT.
In addition, when enabling JIT for multitasked app, LiveContainer will prioritize launching StikDebug as a multitask app to save app slot usage. (TODO: this doesn’t automatically minimize StikDebug after enabling JIT, might be added later)
Be sure to convert StikDebug into a shared app before use.
External Containers

[!Note]
Containers stored on external media (portable drives, SMB shares, etc.) are unsupported by many apps and may cause instability or crashes.

You can now use external folders as app containers. This is useful if you want to manage app data through a file manager while still accessing it in LiveContainer, or if you want maintain container access when an app is shared.
To configure this, open:
App-Specific Settings → Select External Data Folder
Native Icons
LiveContainer now generates icons using native iOS libraries. On iOS 18+, this enables proper Light, Dark, and Original (Liquid Glass) icon rendering. These icons can also be saved for home screen shortcuts.
Multitasking Improvements

Added “Skip app terminate screen” (by @boa-z)
Added ”Single Window Mode” to minimize other apps when a maximized app is brought to front
Launch URL schemes can now be passed to multitasking apps. Passing URL between multitask apps can be controlled via ”Redirect URL to Host” switch
Launching Private Apps is now possible. By default, apps launched with private container is only given sandbox access to its own data container folder. You can use "Import/Refresh Certificate from AltStore/SideStore" button to setup JIT-Less mode.

This version of LiveContainer focuses on quality-of-life improvements, new features such as app sorting and enhanced multitasking, as well as various bug fixes.
New Features
New Icon

LiveContainer/LiveContainer2 now has a new HD icon and supports dark and tinted modes. By @m1337v.

Multitasking

A dock has been added for multitasking mode. The dock can be hidden by dragging it to the edge of the screen, and collapsed by tapping the collapse button. You can also resize the dock in the settings. By @boa-z.
In windowed multitasking mode, you can now maximize or minimize windows using buttons on the new window bar. By @boa-z.
When maximized, the window will occupy the safe area. Additionally, if the dock is collapsed, the entire window bar will be hidden, allowing the app to take up the full screen.
You can now place the window bar at the bottom of the window.
Windows will now automatically resize when the device is rotated.
You can now choose whether to automatically exit Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode when returning to LiveContainer. This option is available in the LiveContainer settings.
The window hosting PiP is now automatically hidden, and is restored when dismissing PiP.

App Management

You can now double-tap an app to quickly open its settings. By @m1337v.
Apps can now be sorted by name (A–Z, Z–A), last opened date, installation date, or a custom order, allowing you to arrange them however you like. By @boa-z and @m1337v.
You can now view an app's installation date and last launch date in its settings.

[EXPERIMENTAL] Built-in SideStore
This experimental feature combines both LiveContainer and SideStore into a single app, saving one app slot for other standalone apps. You can try it out by downloading "LiveContainer+SideStore.ipa". Currently, SideStore itself, the refresh shortcut, and the widget are functional. See here for all changes made to original SideStore https://github.com/hugeBlack/SideStore/tree/LiveContainerSupport

[!Note]
LiveProcess is required to use the refresh shortcut.
It has been reported that the built-in SideStore cannot determine the device UDID if the standalone SideStore is running in the background. If you encounter this issue, please terminate the standalone SideStore.
[!Warning]
Logging into built-in SideStore will save your credentials to LiveContainer's keychain access group. Even though LiveContainer implements isolated keychain access, it is not guaranteed to be completely bulletproof. As such, malicious apps may be able to extract credentials from built-in SideStore. Please consider migrating to a burner Apple ID if you tend to install apps from unknown sources.

Improvements
App Switching Between LiveContainer/LiveContainer2/LiveProcess
We’ve implemented a new method to directly check whether LiveContainer or LiveContainer2 is running, enabling more accurate detection of running apps. In this version, LiveContainer will automatically switch to a running app or launch an app using an idle LiveContainer.
UserDefaults/Preferences
We've adopted a new UserDefaults/Preferences hook that is more efficient and capable of redirecting more preference reads/writes to the app’s container.
Language Switching
We’ve introduced a new language switching mechanism that now also applies to LiveProcess without affecting LiveContainer’s own language settings.
Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where some apps displayed a black screen in versions 3.5.0/3.5.1. Fixes #543, #594.
Fixed an issue where some apps bypassed SecItem* hooks using dlsym. Fix #339.
Fixed issues with signing and patching apps when the app's main executable header was nearly full, by skipping certain patches. This update brings powerful new features like multitasking and better ADP certificate support, along with several bug fixes, improvements, and new language translations.
Multitasking
One of LiveContainer’s main limitations has been the inability to open more than one app at a time. Our new multitasking feature addresses that.
To use multitasking:
1. Convert the app you want to multitask into a shared app.
2. Hold its banner and tap "Multitask".

[!Note]
1. To use multitasking, ensure you select "Keep Extension" when installing via SideStore/AltStore.
2. Most common apps are compatible, but some may have issues.
3. If you want to enable JIT for multitasked apps, you’ll need a JIT enabler that supports attaching by PID — coming soon in StikDebug.

ADP Certificate Support
LiveContainer now officially supports ADP development certificates. Thanks to PR #537 by @SoY0ung, LiveContainer uses the app group included in your .mobileprovision file, rather than hard-coded SideStore/AltStore app groups. This unlocks multitasking and other features.

[!Note]
1. Only development certificates are supported.
2. To use multitasking, your .mobileprovision must contain at least one app group.
3. To enable keychain separation, LiveContainer must be signed with all 128 required keychain access groups.
4. We recommend changing LiveContainer's bundle ID to match the application-identifier in your .mobileprovision.

iOS 26 Liquid Glass Support
Although LiveContainer is currently built with iOS 18.2 SDK, we include an option to enable Liquid Glass for LiveContainer's UI if you have upgraded to iOS 26. You can find this option in iOS Settings-> Apps -> LiveContainer -> enable Liquid Glass.
Improvements

Optimized app launching process for faster startup:
No longer moves shared app data to a private folder.
Uses a new method to override the main executable path, avoiding SIGSEGV signal handlers.
Removed app lock and use container lock only.
Added .tipa support (#467). Note: this allows installing .tipa files, but does not mean the app will run properly without correct entitlements.
You can now search for apps in the app list.
Renamed StikJIT (Standalone) to StikDebug.

Bug Fixes

Fixed #200 by directly setting dyld.config.process.mainExecutablePath to app's real main executable path, ensuring _NSGetExecutablePath returns the correct value.
Fixed #326 by correcting an error in Info.plist. Note: HealthKit entitlements are still required to access health data.
Alleviate #423 by avoiding dyld library validation bypass on signed apps, which otherwise prevents apps that requires JIT from executing JIT pages on A15+
Fixed #478 by moving the JIT enabling window to LCAppListView.
Fixed #476 by updating ZSign.
Fixed #497 by resolving an issue in dyld library validation bypass.
Fixed iOS 16.2 (#495) and iOS 18.4+ on iPad 7 (#531).
Fixed #518 by sending KVO notifications when UsedDefaults is changed.
Fixed #582 by invalidating duplicate library load commands.

Deprecated Features
SideStore/AltStore Patching
With SideStore 0.6.2-20250420.25 and AltStore 2.2.1 both supporting certificate export, patching these stores is no longer necessary. This feature is now deprecated and will be removed in the next major release.
Translations
Thanks to our community translators, LiveContainer now supports:

Traditional Chinese — Jack Black
Italian — @Checkm8ra1n
Turkish — @sekertr
Vietnamese — @khanhduytran0
Portuguese — @DaniTrox

Special thanks to the following contributors for continuing to update translations:
- Arabic — dlshad2
- French — @p-sage
- German — @BeityBytes
- Japanese — @naolad
- Swedish — @se2crid
Credits
Shout out to @khanhduytran0 for doing a lot of research under the hood which made the multitasking feature possible!
Great thanks to @neoarz for providing us certificates so we can test support for ADP certificate!",

Fortunately we have developed the "Spoof SDK Version" feature, forcing system libraries to operate in the SDK version the app is built with. You can enable "Spoof SDK Version".

New Features
1. New Re-Sign Strategy
Instead of keeping track of expiration date, LiveContainer now directly ask iOS to determine whether the code signature is valid, which significantly decreases app re-sign rate. For now your apps will be re-signed only if their code signature is invalid, which probably happens when your certificate is expired (usually takes a year), or is revoked (when you reinstall SideStore/AltStore).
2. Support for StikJIT(StikDebug), SideStore JIT
StikJIT(StikDebug) is the newest on-device JIT enabler powered by idevice. You can now install it both as a standalone app or install it inside LiveContainer. See #265 item 5.8 for more information.
SideStore has recently switched its backend to idevice and added on-device JIT support. For now its JIT URL Scheme has not been implemented so you have to manually enable JIT for LiveContainer.
3. Spoof SDK version
Spoofing SDK version forces system libraries to operate in the SDK version the app is built with. This fix works surprisingly well so we decided to enable it by default for newly installed apps. This fixes some old apps crashing because of the new SDK. We also removed the "Bypass AssertBarrierOnQueue" fix since the root cause is SDK version.
Fix #421 #422
4. Support Import Certificate From SideStore
With this SideStore pr, we can now directly retrieve certificate from SideStore (0.6.2-20250420.25+) without the patch, thus simplifying the process of enabling JIT-Less mode.
5. Game Mode Support
With the SDK version upgrade, LiveContainer now supports game mode. If you don't need it, you can turn it off in the control center.
Bug Fixes

Fix a regression caused by NSBundle path fix. Fix #409
Keep app's plugin folder in case some apps need files inside. Fix hugeBlack/LiveContainer#43
Add TPRO rw in overwrite exec path in case the executable path is TPRO protected. Fix #327
Replace all withCheckedContinuation with withUnsafeContinuation to solve crash on iOS 18.0 beta. Fix #435
Add file permission to solve some sign issues. Fix #448

Removed Features
The following features are removed because it's not useful in current version or constantly causing issues.
1. AltSign: We drop AltSign support because it's constantly causing issues and it's relatively old.
2. Bypass AssertBarrierOnQueue: It is replaced by "Spoof SDK version"
3. Sign Only on Signature Expires: It's now useless as we directly determine if an app's code signature is valid by asking the system.
Translation
LiveContainer is now translated into Arabic, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese and Swedish
- Arabic: translated by dlshad2
- French: translated by @p-sage
- German: translated by @BeityBytes
- Japanese: translated by @naolad
- Portuguese: translated by damn_the_daniel
- Swedish: translated by @se2crid
Credit
Shout out to @khanhduytran0 for doing a lot of research under the hood!
Other
LiveContainer is now migrated from a Theos project to a Xcode project, which simplifies the development and significantly decreased Github Actions build time (2 minutes now and around 10 minutes previously)",

Additionally, you can share an IPA file directly from other apps via the share sheet. (Please note that iOS may hide LiveContainer in the "More" section—simply tap "More" and scroll down to find it.)
Share File to Guest Apps
Files can now be shared to guest apps when they are running through the share sheet.
Implement #320
JITStreamer-EB Support
JITStreamer-EB is now available in LiveContainer. Please note that for LiveContainer to work correctly, some changes must be made to the bundle and entitlement:
- The bundle ID must match the one in the .mobileprovision file without a prefix.
- LiveContainer must be signed with the get-task-allow=true entitlement, meaning Enterprise certificates will not work.
- To use the keychain separation feature, LiveContainer must be signed with the correct entitlement. Please refer to entitlements.xml for the required keychain access groups.
You can check these criteria in Settings->JITLess Diagnose->Entitlement File. All items except com.apple.security.application-groups should be green.
Implement #54 #64 #231
Up to 128 Containers Per App
With the release of SideStore 0.6.0, which fixes the entitlement issue with Keychain Access Groups, you can now create up to 128 containers for each app. Each container created in version 3.3.0 will be assigned a random Keychain Access Group to prevent crashes caused by Keychain Access Group collisions.
Hide LiveContainer
To bypass some app's injection detection, 3 following options are added to app-specific settings.
- Hide LiveContainer from Dyld Api
- Don't Inject TweakLoader
- Don't Load TweakLoader
For most apps, enabling the first two options should be sufficient to bypass injection detection. However, please note that if TweakLoader is not loaded, some features (like app fast switching) may not be available.
Fix #146 #338
Archive Option when Installing 2nd LiveContainer
You can now archive the second LiveContainer instead of installing it directly, allowing you to customize it as needed.
URL to Launch to LiveContainer's UI
You can now use livecontainer://livecontainer-launch?bundle-name=uito launch to LiveContainer's UI
Bug Fixes

Fix #314: Frameworks in the tweaks folder are now signed and injected correctly.
Fix #318: Resolved an issue in fishhook that caused crashes when handling invalid symtab_index.
Fix #332: Fixed a dyld issue where the wrong image was being used when dyld functions were hooked.
Fix #329: Insert LC_ID_DYLIB load command to resolve segment-related issues.
Fix #358 #374: Dopamine's dyld patch is taken into account when bypassing dyld library validation.
Fix #381: LiveContainer can correctly close itself when it is hidden.
Fix #384: All settings are correctly copied when replacing app.
Fixed UI issues when the "Button Shape" accessibility setting was enabled.
Improved some previously confusing or misleading text.
",

Downgrading after updating will result in the loss of all app-specific settings. Please remember to reinstall the second LiveContainer to prevent data conflict.
Additionally, some apps may display a black screen and crash after 10 seconds in v3.2.0. Please refer to the "Black Screen Fix" section below for more details.

New Features
Black Screen Fix
The Black Screen Fix is no longer applied automatically to prevent loading UIKit.framework before the app’s main executable is opened, which could cause symbol binding issues. You can enable it in Long press app -> Settings -> enable Fix Black Screen
App Group Isolation
You can now isolate app groups for different containers, allowing multiple accounts (e.g., in SideStore) to be signed in within separate containers. You can find files inside app group in container folder -> LCAppGroup
You can enable this feature by: Long press app -> Settings -> (Container name) -> enable Isolate App Group
Fix #279
Open URL Automatically
You can now automatically open an URL in current app without being prompted.
Implement #285
Ignore Error During dlopen
This fixes errors like dlsym(xxxx, xxxx) caused by app's initializers calling dlsym with a non-existing symbol
Fix issues like #124
Better App Signature Check
The team ID used in app signing is now considered when determining if an app needs re-signing. This allows apps to be re-signed if they are transferred between LiveContainers installed by different Apple IDs.
JIT-Less Mode Diagnose Page & LiveContainer Help
A new JIT-Less Mode Diagnose Page helps new users quickly identify configuration issues. Problematic items are highlighted in red for easy troubleshooting.
You can see this page in Settings -> JIT-Less Mode Diagnose.
You can see LiveContainer help in Apps -> ? Button
Bug Fixes & Compatibility
Separate App-Specific Settings from Info.plist
App-Specific Settings is now saved in a different file to prevent app from crashing due to reading it.
Fix #277
Hook dlsym(RTLD_MAIN_ONLY,xxx)
Redirect this call to the app's main executable instead of LiveContainer's to prevent issues.
Fix #124 #130 #140 #221 #225
Don't Link against UIKit.framework
This solution is provided by khanhduytran0
UIKit.framework is now not linked by LiveContainer's main executable to prevent symbol binding issues. However this will prevent the black screen fix to be automatically applied.
Fix #277 #272 #200 #139
App Hiding Without Device Password
App hiding now works even if the device doesn’t have a password set.
Fix #281
(Regression) Fix 2 Bugs in NSUserDefaultsHook in 3.1.0
Fix #276 #291
Fix long press actions of last guest app remain
Fix #235
Fix Apps Unable to Open Their Own URL Schemes
Fix #44
Resolve Crash Loop with Blank Info.plist
Handles cases where Info.plist is blank due to app corruption, which previously crashes LiveContainerSwiftUI.
Fix #293
Fix CallKit Unable to Initialize
Fix #258
Fix Crash when Patching Store
The cause of this issue is that LiveContainer cannot access App Group due to incorrect setup.",

You can switch signer in Settings and app-specific settings for one specific app.
Re-Sign Only on Expiration
LiveContainer now keeps track of the date of expiration of each app's code signature and only signs when its signature is expired. So re-signing happens less frequent than before.
Automatic Tweak Re-Sign
LiveContainer now keeps track of the tweaks you added and re-signs it if it is changed or its code signature expires, which makes tweak development with LiveContainer more convenient.
Implement #175.
Multiple Container Support
You can now create up to 3 containers for each app, so you can log in multiple accounts in different containers(data folders).
Keychains are now semi-separated between app containers. Note that keychains will be removed if you delete a container in LiveContainer.
keychains created in older version will remain untouched so you can continue using your apps like before. To play commercial games, you will need access to a Switch compatible with custom firmware (CFW), which will enable you to dump your system firmware, keys and legally purchased games.
How can I dump my firmware/games/keys?
First, you need to hack your Nintendo Switch, which you can learn how to do here: https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/.
Once you have hacked your Switch, backed up your keys and dumped your firmware, you may follow these guides to dump keys, updates and DLC, firmware and games:
Keys
Games, Updates and DLC
Firmware
Info

A Paid Developer account or TrollStore may be needed for specific devices (Read about Entitlements below)
MeloNX REQUIRES JIT and CANNOT run without it.
Recommended iPhone: iPhone 15 Pro+ (8/12GB RAM both have the same memory limit of 6GB)
Recommended iPad: iPad Pro 5th+ 128GB+ (8GB RAM) / 1TB+ (16GB RAM) or iPad Air 5+ (8GB RAM)
Lowest Compatible Device (Paid Developer Account): iPhone 6s (iOS 15)
Lowest Compatible Device (Free Developer Account): iPhone 12

Entitlements

Entitlements are the underlying security permissions that allow an app to access specific features of your device

MeloNX can use 2 Entitlements:
Increased Memory Limit:
- This allows MeloNX to be able to use the most amount of ram apple lets us.
Extended Virtual Addressing:
- This allows MeloNX to be able to ask iOS for more memory / RAM then actually available.
- Extended Virtual Addressing is a PAID entitlement, TrollStore also gives this entitlement.
Increased Memory Limit is required for all devices.
Extended Virtual Addressing is required for specific devices which don't allow us to ask the RAM we need without the Extended Virtual Addressing entitlement.
Those Devices include:
iPads with less than 8GB of RAM.
iPhones with less than 4GB of RAM.
Discord Server
We have a discord server!
How to install
Recommended Guide (Plumeimpactor)

SideStore is recommended (optional) for an on-device Sideloader, and should be installed prior performing this install.

Make sure to read the FAQ and Info before continuing.
1. Sideload Application
Download and install MeloNX using PlumeImpactor on a computer.
- Download MeloNX From Releases
- Open PlumeImpactor > Click Settings > Click Login
- Login with the same Apple ID you are using for SideStore (or AltStore).
- Import the MeloNX .ipa you downloaded earlier.
- Plug in your iDevice.
- Select your iDevice from the dropdown at the top of the window.
- Click Install.
2. Load Into SideStore (Optional)
To have MeloNX show inside SideStore (or AltStore), You must re-install it:
- Open SideStore on your iDevice
- Select the My Apps tab > Tap the + button.
- Select the MeloNX .ipa (You may need to download it again.)
- Wait for it to Sideload, then it should show up Inside SideStore.
- Now You can Refresh MeloNX and Update it without needing a computer.
4. Setup Files

Add Encryption Keys and Firmware using the file picker inside MeloNX,
Information for where to get these files are here

5. Enable JIT

Enable JIT using your preferred method, on iOS 26 StikDebug is required.

Paid Developer Account (Legacy)
Make sure to read the FAQ and Info before continuing.
1. Sideload MeloNX
Download and install MeloNX using your preferred Apple ID (NOT CERT) sideloader:
- Download MeloNX from Releases
2. Enable Memory Entitlement

Visit Apple Developer Identifiers.
Locate MeloNX and enable the following entitlements:
Increased Memory Limit
Extended Virtual Addressing
Increased Debugging Memory Limit

3. Reinstall MeloNX

Delete existing MeloNX installation
Sideload MeloNX again
Verify Increased Memory Limit is enabled in app

4. Setup Files

Add Encryption Keys and Firmware using the file picker inside MeloNX
Information for where to get these files are here

5. Enable JIT

Enable JIT using your preferred method, on iOS 26 StikDebug is required.

Free Developer Account (Legacy, On-Device)

This Guide is out of date and not recommended unless REQUIRED. Please follow the recommended guide here.
SideStore is recommended to Sideload MeloNX.

Make sure to read the FAQ and Info before continuing.
The Entitlement App is *NOT needed for AltStore Classic***
- You may skip Step 2 and Step 3
1. Sideload Applications
Download and install both apps using your preferred APPLE ID sideloader:
- MeloNX: Download from Releases
- Entitlement App: Download IPA
2. Enable Memory Entitlement

If the Entitlement / GetMoreRam app isn't working correctly, then try the new Plumeimpactor method.
- Open the Entitlement app > Settings
- Sign in with the same Apple ID you used to Sideload MeloNX.
- Go to App IDs > tap Refresh
- Select MeloNX (e.g., "com.stossy11.MeloNX.XXXXXX")
- Tap Add Increased Memory Limit

3. Reinstall MeloNX

Delete existing MeloNX installation
Sideload MeloNX again
Verify Increased Memory Limit is enabled in app

4. Setup Files

Add Encryption Keys and Firmware using the file picker inside MeloNX
Information for where to get these files are here

5. Enable JIT

Enable JIT using your preferred method. We recommend StikDebug.

Features
- Audio
Audio output is entirely supported, audio input (microphone) isn't supported.
We use C# wrappers for OpenAL, and SDL2 & libsoundio as fallbacks.
- CPU
The CPU emulator, ARMeilleure, emulates an ARMv8 CPU and currently has support for most 64-bit ARMv8 and some of the ARMv7 (and older) instructions, including partial 32-bit support.
It translates the ARM code to a custom IR, performs a few optimizations, and turns that into x86 code.
There are three memory manager options available depending on the user's preference, leveraging both software-based (slower) and host-mapped modes (much faster).
The fastest option (host, unchecked) is set by default.
Ryujinx also features an optional Profiled Persistent Translation Cache, which essentially caches translated functions so that they do not need to be translated every time the game loads.
The net result is a significant reduction in load times (the amount of time between launching a game and arriving at the title screen) for nearly every game.
NOTE: This feature is enabled by default, You must launch the game at least twice to the title screen or beyond before performance improvements are unlocked on the third launch!
These improvements are permanent and do not require any extra launches going forward.
- GPU
The GPU emulator emulates the Switch's Maxwell GPU using Metal (via MoltenVK) APIs through a custom build of Silk.NET.
- Input
We currently have support for keyboard, touch input, JoyCon input support, and nearly all MFI controllers.
Motion controls are natively supported in most cases, however JoyCons do not have motion support due to an iOS limitation.
Rumble is also natively supported in most cases.
- DLC & Modifications
MeloNX supports DLC + Game Update Add-ons.
Mods (romfs, exefs, and runtime mods such as cheats) are unsupported; but may work.
- Configuration
The emulator has settings for enabling or disabling logging, remapping controllers, resolution settings, Shader Cache and more.
Notice
This project does not distribute, include, or endorse any copyrighted or pirated content.
JESSI

Java Edition Servers Suck on iOS

Basic Information •
 LiveContainer •
 Features •
 Build / Misc

If you would like support, want to request a feature, or just talk to other JESSI users you should join the discord: https://discord.gg/aZ9HbYXKur
Basic Information
JESSI is an iOS app that runs Minecraft: Java Edition servers natively on iOS, targeting iOS 14+. JESSI runs on both jailed and jailbroken iOS, only requiring JIT to do so.
JESSI was designed specifically to be as easy to use as possible, even if you have never hosted a Minecraft server before. The UI is simple to understand and use, making JESSI the best beginner friendly option to host a minecraft server.
Tutorials for installing JESSI can be found in the wiki for this repo. More tutorials for specific features will be coming shortly, as well as video tutorials!
LiveContainer
While this repo won't directly give you a guide on how to use/install LiveContainer, it should be noted that JESSI has full compatibility with LiveContainer. All you need to do is install JESSI inside of LiveContainer, then launch it with JIT.
Features
JESSI is still being actively developed, and plenty of more features will come. Here's a list of some of JESSI's most important features:

Ability to run minecraft servers (duh)
Built in JVM downloader, pick between Java 8, 17, and 21 (or download all of them!)
Server memory allocation slider
Easy to use server creator, with support for several server softwares
A file manager that allows you to easily manage several servers
Network tunneling via playit.gg and UPnP support
Integrated mod, modpack, resource pack, and datapack downloading via Modrinth and curseforge
Keep alive, run the server in the background even with the screen off
Server config GUI

Building/Miscellaneous extra info
If you would like to build JESSI yourself, it's pretty simple. Install Xcode and Xcode CLI, then run one of the following:

scripts/build-ipa.sh for an ipa for iOS/iPadOS
scripts/build-ipa.sh --macos for an app for macOS

There are some limitations that we're currently running into for jailed iOS, that we're not sure are solvable. The main one is that the JVM must run in the same process as the app itself. Because of this, when the JVM is killed in any way, the app is also killed. So, at least for now, if you stop a server or create a forge/neoforge server in the server setup, the app will crash after the java process ends. You will not lose any data from a crash occuring this way, and in fact Crash Reporter on iOS doesn't even detect it as a crash. This is solvable by running the JVM in a seperate process, which is now automatically used for macOS builds and still available on supported TrollStore setups.
We're open to feedback and suggestions for features, so if you have any ideas on how JESSI could be improved feel free to contact us in the discord server. Thank you for using JESSI!",
