WGold is a modified WhatsApp client for iPhone and iPad — download the WGold IPA for iOS if the stock app's iPad layout has always bothered you. It's built from WhatsApp's TestFlight release with proper iPad support layered on top, so the app actually uses the screen instead of stretching a phone layout.
Outside of that, WGold tracks whatever WhatsApp build it's based on, so nothing else changes underneath. The author recommends signing in as a linked device rather than making WGold your primary WhatsApp install — that keeps your main account registration untouched if anything goes wrong.
