Controls

Control options are designed for flexibility and player preference. When directing a specific character, you can choose between the “Classic” one-handed control system or the “Dual Wield” mode, where each hand is controlled independently. If you are new to these control schemes, the game allows you to pause at any time by tapping the dateline to access the comprehensive “Controls” guide. Additionally, in-game hints are provided through scrolls and books for extra assistance.
You can easily switch the character you control by tapping their health meter or directly selecting them on the battlefield. Activate “Commander” mode by tapping the arrows at the screen’s bottom to take a strategic overview. In this mode, issue commands by swiping from a unit’s location to their destination —whether it involves relocating, attacking enemies, or picking up objects. Keep in mind that units will follow commands as their priorities and convenience allow. Zooming in and out is simple with a pinch gesture at the screen’s center, no matter what control style or device you use.

Map and Campaign Mode

The main Campaign mode centers on territorial expansion. Move your units from one connected area to another to either fortify your stronghold or invade rival territories. Note that only 50% of a territory’s units can travel, which makes offense more challenging than defense. Managing your domains effectively is crucial as populations in controlled territories grow each round, and units heal gradually over time. Successfully balancing offense, defense, and resource management across multiple locations is key to victory.

Performance

This is the largest-scale game to date and may demand a high-end device for optimal performance. Adjust the “Population” setting to keep the number of on-screen characters manageable or reduce other graphical settings in the “Display” options to maintain smooth gameplay.
