Version v.0.3.1 is an update that includes many functionality changes, Google accounts, website compatibility, Browsing, tab improvements, private browsing, video, fullscreen, iOS 12 and iOS 17 compatibilty, and minor fixes!

New Features, fixes, and improvements:

• Reworked iOS video/CALayer presentation to address fullscreen black screens, partially black video, and frozen pictures with continuing audio.
• Added app wide Private Browsing controls backed by Chromium's off-the-record browser context, with a custom private-mode UI color.
• Added a Google Account section to the main menu with Add Google Account, Switch Accounts, Manage Google Account, and Sign out actions.
• Added Google account profile pictures. Updated avatar data can be refreshed when restarting the app.

• Added dedicated arm64 iOS 11 and iOS 12 legacy builds. The iOS 12 version HAS been tested on an iPhone 6+ on iOS 12.5.7.

• Added slight built-in ad blocker improvements.
• Improved README and added build instructions.
• Many other bug fixes and small improvements.

About:

Blinker Fluid is an experimental privacy-focused browser that ports Chromium's Blink rendering engine and V8 JavaScript engine to iOS, allowing websites to run without relying on Apple's built-in WebKit engine.

The project primarily targets jailbroken and TrollStore-capable devices, bringing a Chromium-based browser to older iOS versions where the bundled version of WebKit may struggle with some modern websites.

Why?:

I started Blinker Fluid because Ungoogled Chromium is my primary desktop browser (not counting Tor), and I wanted to see if Chromium's Blink engine could run on jailbroken iOS.

Another reason was that many modern websites no longer work correctly with older versions of WebKit bundled with older iOS releases, which many jailbroken users are unable or unwilling to update from.
