Reader

• Reliable Resume to Saved Position :

  • Reopening a chapter in continuous vertical reading now jumps directly and instantly to the page where you left off, even before all images have finished loading.
  • Eliminated the issue where the reader would land on a neighboring page or spinner instead of the correct saved position.

• Smoother Zoomed Panning & Inertia (#1021):

  • Dragging a zoomed page now follows your finger precisely using real movement delta instead of an accumulated offset, making panning far more responsive.
  • Flinging a zoomed page now carries natural momentum with a longer, smoother coast animation.
  • Overscrolling past the edge of a zoomed page automatically transfers the momentum to the page list scroll, allowing seamless continued scrolling without lifting your finger.

• Fixed Grey Screen in Double-Page Mode:

  • Chapter transition pages in vertical double-page reading no longer cause a crash or a blank grey screen when the spread is reached.

• Reader Bottom Bar Positioning:

  • The page slider and quick-action bar now correctly sit above the system gesture area and home indicator on all devices, preventing them from being hidden behind system UI.

• Novel Reader Performance:

  • Page swipes in paged novel mode no longer trigger a full rebuild of the reader tree, making navigation between pages considerably faster.

Fixes & Stability

• Fixed infinite loading spinner when resuming a continuous vertical chapter mid-chapter.
• Corrected the visible range check that was preventing the initial scroll anchor from being applied reliably.
• Page image load events now correctly trigger a re-jump to the saved position if the list had not yet settled on the right page.
